Sakura Orihon Exhibition
“Sakura Orihon: Diary of a Cherry Blossom Journey” is an exhibition showcasing the work of landscape architect Ron Henderson. Henderson recorded his experience with the cherry blossom tress of Japan in folding sketchbooks known as orihon.
The exhibition visual and experiential design were informed by the physicality of Henderson's sketchbooks, collections of journey ephemera, and Japanese design. Elements included exhibition graphics, marketing, and special Japanese-style commemorative stamps.
